[BIGSTORY!]Burna Boy’s Mom gave Iconic speech that earned her Standing ovation at BET award.

The African Giant and Ye Crooner aka Burna Boy was reported to be absent at the moment he was announced the Winner of the 2019BET award.


The 2019 edition of the award which celebrates black people in film, music and arts, held at the Microsoft Theatre in California on Monday.

BurnaBoy’s Mother Bose Ogulu was honoured with acclamations and accolades from Various African-Americans following her Iconic and overwhelming message as she delivered her acceptance speech on behalf of her Son BurnaBoy as ‘Best International Act’ of the Year.

She thanked the BET, Africa and enclosed her speech reminding Every black to keep Africa in Mind

In her acceptance speech, She said, “Thank you BET, Thank you, Africa, because that’s the constituency for which we got noticed in the first place,” and departed from the stage with “Every black person should please remember that you were Africans before you became anything else”

BurnaBoy’s mom speech at BET award had endeared lots of acclamations especially from many African American celebrities such as Hollywood Actress Yvette Nicole-Brown who reacted to this on her Twitter handle.
In her acknowledgement post, @YNB she wrote”Wisdom from @BurnaBoy’s mother #ForTheCulture at the @BET Awards:
